Square and carnival... Spain is the exotics for the French of the Moliere era. Read Merime's Carmen. Something like Italy for Shakespeare.
Stage Left: three revolving panels; Stage Right: Balcony, Center -- fountain
The screen -- images: what, when, how?
One way -- the traditional commedia drawings. Second -- the pix from Venice
Fest (at the bottom).
NB. A strange development. First I asked to remove the border between the house and the stage and to low the pit. Second, in tradition of Commedia asked actor to play the audience (no 4th Wall); nest -- to step down to the first row... and now even to take some spectators to the stage during the big monologues. Oh yes, to open and close the show by entering through the house (big dance numbers).
Levels: pit, stage, statue (SC), meaybe "balcony" (US or SL)-- two levels. COSTUMES at Tara's pages! See cotumes.org
