godot online play

Pozzo comes for the FIRST time; he and Lucky change the minds of Vladimir and Estragon = in act two they are PLAYING "Waiting for Godot" (comedy). Pozzo in need of them. The Second Coming (act II) is to die...

Vladimir leaves into the "light road" (from the lab space)

"Minimalism" in acting? (Film acting)

Acting areas: tree, stone, road (crossroad) +
Pozzo ("director's" chair) = T-section (he is left, Lucky - right); Vladimir, Estragon are in the middle

Acting areas for each character (cast)

Acting areas (dramatic composition) * Pre-show (four days... of waiting), 6 days (of creation) with Act I and II.

Day Seventh -- opens screen/curtain into the house. Sound, lights.

Curtain call -- how? [ curtain = make "theatrical space" ]

Visual Composition in Stagematrix

Thrust and arena settings

Tragic situation or tragic heroes? Aristotle, hello?

... Cuts?

What if "entertainment" is the answer? Watch TV while waiting...

Is director needed? Text and Actors, according to Beckett?

Readings: line-by-line and beat-by-beat analysis.

Pre-show (four tableau), no full black out? Notes [ full = transition to act I ]

Too bad I didn't do the director's diary. Blog?

Should the acts be treated as "two one-act plays"?

Why the public is on stage? Prosc. theatre is anti-Beckett. "Empty Space" (Brook) -- "holy theatre" and "raw theatre" together?

Photos, according to text? [ Tara's pix ]

Quotes & Thoughts:

General "choreography" ideas: Acting Areas and Zones (characters, thematic) -- mise-en-scene page.

Where, when and how do they meet? Conflicting Points

"Limited space" shows : Island, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (George's corver, Martha's), and Glass Menagerie (to some extent).

Vectors (Biomechanics), dramatic masses and etc.

Diagonal axis: Tree -- Grave

Crossing the axises = dramatic acts, stage events.

UR and DR are problem areas!?
